Spa Etiquette & Polices

We have implemented COVID-19 Safety Measures to ensure the safety of our guests and workers. We are committed to the health and well-being of our extraordinary guests, workers, and the entire community of St. John. You can assist in a variety of ways, including the following:



Before Your Appointment

If you have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19 or if you have a positive test result, you must cancel your appointment within 7 days of the scheduled date. Additionally, you should take the same precautions if you have difficulty breathing, coughing, or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees. We will gladly reschedule your appointment at no additional charge.



Arriving For Your Appointment

The Mango Bliss Spa staff will continue to wear masks to provide our clients with a safe and tranquil experience. We no longer ask that you arrive early for your appointment to avoid unnecessary interaction with our other guests.



Our Protocols

What to expect during the duration of your spa treatment:

  • At all times, Mango Bliss Spa staff will be wearing face masks.
  • Our therapists wash their hands before and following each guest service.
  • All treatment rooms are sanitized between guest services, including surface areas and handles.
  • As is customary, each guest service includes freshly laundered sheets, head cradle covers, and towels. After each use, all soft goods—linens, robes, and towels—are machine washed in hot water with bleach.


We advise making your appointment as far in advance as you can to guarantee availability.


A credit card is needed to schedule your appointment. 


Guests with pre-existing medical conditions should speak with their doctors before scheduling any spa services.



When scheduling services, kindly let us know the following:

  • Allergies, injuries, and medical conditions, including pregnancy
  • If you are currently taking Retin-A, Accutane, or any other photosensitizing or keratolytic medication,have recently undergone laser or plastic surgery


Your spa treatment is reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa's scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance.


Any cancellations with less than 72 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the scheduled service cost.


You agree to these policies when scheduling your appointment(s) with us. All services require a credit card to guarantee a reservation. Your card will not be charged unless there is a cancellation or no-show. Upon checkout, guests may pay with cash, Venmo or credit card.


Please contact us via email at laura@mangoblissspa.com if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. We have booked an exclusive time slot for you, and we appreciate your consideration of our therapists' schedules.


Mango Bliss Spa reserves the right to charge the total amount for missed appointments or late cancellations.


A valid credit card number is required for each reservation, securely saved in our payment terminal. 


Please cancel on time to avoid the late cancellation fee.

 

Will I be charged before the service?

No, you will not be charged now. You are only reserving your appointment, and you will pay in person after the appointment is finished.

 

What happens if I'm a no-show?

Clients who do not show up for scheduled appointments will be charged for the scheduled service without prior notification.


For groups of three or more guests, an additional 20 percent service charge will be automatically added.


We ask that guests arrive on time for their appointment. We are no longer requesting that you arrive early for your appointment in order to prevent interactions with other guests.



We will make every attempt to accommodate late arrivals. However, a late arrival may necessitate a shortened appointment time at the scheduled price to accommodate other clients' appointments.


For spa services, products, and gratuities, we accept cash, Venmo, and credit cards. 


Using a credit card will result in an additional service charge of 5% of the total cost of your services


Our team strives to help you feel more relaxed and at peace. While gratuity is not included in the pricing of our services and is optional, it is appreciated. Gratuities typically vary between 20% and 25% of the treatment cost, or more if you receive great care.
 
An additional 20% service charge will be added for in-villa and catamaran services.
 


Our therapists will maintain a low level of conversation so that you can fully enjoy your spa treatment. You will be advised to relax and take slow breaths throughout the treatment. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable with the temperature of the room, the pressure of the massage, or any other part of your treatment.
 
Spa treatments frequently allow the mind to relax and the body to de-stress. Don't be surprised if you feel sad, angry, or happy. Embrace crying or laughing to express emotions. As a result of the release of stress and tension, many clients fall asleep during sessions. The therapist will gently wake you up if you need to move or if the treatment is ending.
 


Mango Bliss Spa is not responsible for any personal items and/or valuables brought into the spa. Please leave your valuables and jewelry at home.
